Agribody Technologies, Inc. (ATI) is an agricultural biotech licensing and co-development company that applies a proven solution to food-sourcing problems due to ever-growing population, extreme weather and decreasing farmland availability by significantly increasing crop yields. Our patented genetic modification (GM) or genome editing (GE) technology also delays onset of plant senescence, while increasing tolerance to diseases and sublethal stresses such as drought, heat, cold, salt, low nutrients and crowding in many key crop plants. ATI’s customers/partners are seed companies having their own elite commercial germplasm. Our team currently consists of 5 Executives and 5 Advisors. Licensing deals (coffee, potato, corn, soy, banana, Camelina, rose, lettuce) and co-development models (alfalfa, tomato, canola, rice) are already underway with multiple seed companies. We have the capacity to do many more, with a focus on extending the shelf life of perishable products (fruit, vegetables, flowers) by 3- to 4 fold, thereby reducing huge post-harvest losses and resulting waste production of methane, and increasing food security.
